About us, Nevada Fishing Service

We do our fishing on private water called Sand Hill Lakes. It is
located on beautiful Ross creek ranch 30 minutes north of
down town Reno Nevada.

We strive to provide the best quality fish available, they look
and fight just like wild fish. To us size does matter, Sand Hill
Lakes has trophy size Steel head Rainbow hybrids up to 12 lbs
Brook trout up to 3 1/2 lbs and Brown trout up to 7 lbs.

Nevada Fishing Service started as a club membership for
fishing at Sand Hill Lakes and has evolved into one of the best
pay to fish waters in the state. With the change we can provide
a better trophy fishery where fishermen can catch their largest
fish ever in multiple species.

We are a small home based business, we currently have one
master guide and two sub guides working at Sand Hill Lakes.
We really cater to every fishermen, first timers can perfect their
casts as well as learn to hook and land fish with out getting
discouraged because they can't get a bite. We do every thing
we can to get a fish on your line and keep you hooked on fly
fishing.

Although we mainly cater to the fly fishing clients we also have
bass ponds to get the youngest started with their first fish. We
know the kids get discouraged easily when it comes to being
patient waiting for that first fish, so when the bass are really
biting good they don't have to wait that long. Our trips to the
bass ponds are discounted for the kids to help the parents with
getting their new fishing buddy hooked and wanting to keep
going back.
